Abstract

Two structural instances of three-story structures in flood-prone areas are examined in the study: Case 1: Hard Soil Conditions in Seismic Zone 4 Case 2: Hard Soil Conditions in Seismic Zone 3. In all scenarios, the height of the base floor is 4 meters, and the heights of the subsequent storeys are 3 meters from floor to ceiling. In both situations, seismic analysis is done to assess how the structure would react to an earthquake. Important variables include bending moment, shear force, axial force, base shear, and joint displacement are the main focus of the analysis. To evaluate the effect of ductile detailing on the seismic performance of the buildings, the outcomes are compared.
