Geopolymer concrete (GPC) has been the focus of much research as a potential substitute for environmentally friendly building materials that could reduce CO2 emissions because it uses industrial byproducts. Both fly ash and ground-granulated blast-furnace slag are widely used geopolymer raw materials because of their accessibility and high levels of alumina and silica. For clean and sustainable development, GGBFS-FA-based GPC offers a technological alternative. The RSM approach was used to optimize the mixed quantities of geopolymer concrete in order to meet the desired strength criteria in this investigation. Four factors and four levels were considered: binder content, which included varying amounts of GGBS, FA, and silica fume. In this paper presenting review of literature related to utilization of geopolymer in concrete.
