Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the key factors that influence the quality of construction supervision at Delta Construction Co. Ltd, Viet Nam. The motivation behind this research stems from the critical role that effective supervision plays in ensuring successful project outcomes in the construction industry, particularly in large-scale projects where coordination among various stakeholders is complex. The research employed a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data collection through surveys with statistical analyses such as Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), ANOVA, and regression analysis. The survey was conducted among 85 employees of Delta Construction, including supervisory staff and project managers, to gather comprehensive data on factors such as expertise, training, supervision processes, and the application of technology. The findings reveal that the expertise of the supervision team and the use of advanced technology are the most significant contributors to supervision quality, while areas such as employee training and stakeholder coordination require further improvement. The study concludes that enhancing these aspects could lead to substantial improvements in supervision outcomes. Additionally, the research provides practical recommendations for Delta Construction and similar firms to optimize their supervision practices by focusing on professional development and technological integration. The implications of this study extend beyond the specific case of Delta Construction, offering valuable insights into the broader challenges of maintaining high-quality supervision in the construction industry.
